Our research team is made up of bright, young, talented women who are interviewing the most up-to-date world experts in the areas you've designated, and more we'll add after we hear from YOU. All information is personally reviewed by Carol Liege and other women who have solved the same problems in the past, both personally and professionally.
Carol understands and empathizes with a broad range of issues confronting women like you. Living in California, she helped form the first state chapter of the US Women's Chamber of Commerce, organized the Coachella Valley Women's Leadership Forum for The International Alliance of Women, and formed a Professional Women's Roundtable for the National Association of Female Executives. She also volunteered at women's homeless shelters, abuse and grief programs, and coordinated the development of a consolidated county Abuse-Recovery Coalition bringing together professionals dealing with child abuse, spousal abuse, and substance abuse for joint planning and coordination.
As a Senior Consultant at The Public Affairs Group in Washington, D.C. before that, Carol was in charge of the research and development of the first-ever directory of national women's business organizations and the first national Business Women's Network, conducted surveys of women's interests and purchasing preferences, and promoted corporate diversity programs. She researched, planned and helped organize public-influencing campaigns on behalf of Fortune 500 companies, national associations and organizations, Federal and foreign governments at leading private, full-service public affairs firms.
Carol has a long and varied history of cutting-edge research and planning, including programs to empower women in a variety of ways, as well as on-the-ground volunteer work addressing a broad range of women's issues. Originally trained at Smith as a psychiatric social worker, she quickly moved into community and statewide positions planning and organizing mental health services. Then she moved up to the state governor's office for planning and interagency coordination, where she helped implement several forward-looking reforms affecting women in the areas of health care, education, day care, civil rights, housing, and special needs (physically disabled, mentally ill and retarded, aged, addicted).
Today Carol lives in Minnesota near the world-famous resources of the University of Minnesota, Mayo Clinic, Courage Center, Hazelden Foundation, and other centers of excellence that house both outstanding young research talent and cutting-edge expertise. This is the first time her company, Jesess Investments LLC, has focused on today's women's issues and the development of products and services to address them. She has three sisters, two daughters, and three granddaughters.
